Principals

Leo WomackFounder and Chairman

Leo has built extensive connections over the past 40 years with Texas investors and entrepreneurs, which generates substantial deal flow especially in energy, real estate, and life sciences opportunities.

He began his career in Houston as a licensed CPA with Arthur Andersen and then purchased a small CPA firm in the Texas Medical Center. In the early 80’s he merged his firm into a large national firm to pursue private investments and entrepreneurial activities and retired from the profession.

Leo is a co-founder and President of Gulf Equities Realty Advisors, a Houston centric real estate company that currently manages a portfolio of over $100M+ of real estate investments primarily of undeveloped land in the greater Hoston area. Over his career Leo has been a principal in numerous real estate joint ventures developing and/or redeveloping commercial office buildings, retail shopping centers, hospitals, hotels and residential subdivisions. Leo has a commercial broker’s license.

He was a founding member of the Houston Angel Network (HAN) and later served as its President and Chairman and is still an active member. He continues to search for unique opportunities in real estate, early-stage technology, medical device, and micro-cap public companies involving these disciplines, where he typically serves as Audit Chairman or Chairman.

Bruce BadeauManaging Director

Bruce is an industry agnostic deal maker, and strategic advisor, structuring companies for capital raises and acquisitions.

He currently serves as Strategic Advisor to SONOSTICS.com, an MIT spin-off technology company that has developed an external medical device that can reverse cognitive impairment by increasing cardiac output.

He founded First Sovereign Equity Research in 1996, which performs financial modeling, valuations, business planning, and deal structuring services for public or private companies seeking to raise capital or prepare for acquisitions or divestitures. (www.Brucent.com)

He has structured 200 companies for capital raises using VentureCAD©, his 120-month GAP compliant, financial and resource forecasting software designed to raise money with convertible notes, SAFE Notes, and common stock.

He served as strategic advisor to a $30 million materials processing company looking to be acquired. He has serviced a diverse group of clients including: construction equipment rentals, oil and gas exploration, solar energy construction, heart monitoring, explosives detection, durable medical equipment, elective surgery network, breast cancer detection using saliva proteins, blimp racing, buyside real estate brokerage, consumer food products, interactive gaming, sleep technology, autonomous drones, asteroid mining, and a public drug company with a treatment for peripheral artery disease (PAD).

Bruce wrote franchise development software for Volvo Construction Equipment Rents used to obtain $300 million in equipment loans for 175 rental franchises and wrote the first six customer plans. He wrote the business plan for their Australian franchisee that closed a $22 million Volvo Rents expansion investment.

He designed and produced an interactive cell phone game www.ZapDemRats.com, currently selling downloads on Google Play Store (Android) and STEAM (Windows, and Macintosh).

He wrote OilCAD©, an oil and gas deal making software program that estimates reservoir volumes, decline rates, prices for oil and gas, operating costs, and net revenues.

As an advisor to the National Algae Association, he designed and programmed AlgaeCAD©, a bio-engineering process, facility design calculator for commercial algae production utilizing photobioreactors for autotrophic and heterotrophic systems.

He was Business Development and Public Shareholder relations manager, for National HealthCare Alliance, which was a Texas, public, managed healthcare company.

He completed Rice Alliance: Bioengineering Management 633: Roles of Physicians, Scientists, and Engineers in High-tech Startups, taught by Jack Gill, Ph.D. He completed several MBA courses at U of Houston, earned a B.A. in Economics and Corporate Finance from UC Santa Barbara and is a graduate of The Lawrenceville School.

In an earlier life Bruce built racing sail boats, designed and built sails, was class president and raced Olympic Class Tornado Catamarans in Hawaii, England, France, Germany, and Canada. He won the bronze medal in the 1975 World Championships, Copenhagen Denmark. Now for fun he paints abstracts and composes on the piano.

Meagan CrawfordPrincipal 

SpaceFund | Venture Capital Space Start Up Funding

Meagan is an expert in entrepreneurship with deep skills in start-up coaching and mentoring.

She envisions significant space commercialization and is a driving force in developing the rapidly growing and exciting New Space sector, which is characterized by a shift towards agility, innovation, and new economic models. It offers opportunities for private entities to invest, create, grow, and explore, bridging the gap between space exploration and venture capital investments.

To this end she is Managing Partner at SpaceFund, a venture capital firm investing in NewSpace startups.

Meagan is also a managing team member of the NewSpace Business Plan Competition and a member of the Board of Directors for both the New Worlds Institute and the Space Frontier Foundation.

She worked at NASA, taught Executive Communication at the University of Houston, and worked as a management consultant in the oil and gas industry

She earned an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Finance from Rice University and a BBA in Management and Marketing from the University of Houston.

Bart WomackPrincipal

Bart is an innovator, investor, producer, and promoter.

He has developed considerable expertise in corporate branding, communications, and business development. He is particularly adept in developing PR and communications campaigns for start-up companies with limited funds but unlimited inspiration, utilizing every format and platform, from a street level approach to the World Wide Web.

Currently, Bart is the founder and CEO of Eden Grow Systems, an agtech company which developed and sells a computer controlled, aeroponics growing system using a mist environment, eliminating the need for soil or an aggregate medium. They also supply digital lights, grow supplies, and starter plants.

Bart produced and hosted a public interest TV show, and secured a 501c3 for Houston Media Source, a public access platform. Then he spearheaded the effort for that station to secure a 10-year, $12 million grant from the city of Houston.

Bart worked on major motion pictures, produced TV shows, interviewed presidential candidates, and owned the largest, most successful nightclub in Texas for over 5 years. He produced events and concerts with thousands of attendees, and he developed marketing campaigns that reached millions.

Bart also volunteers with local organizations and frequently manages communications and media projects for inspirational non-profits, such as the New Worlds Institute.

Richard marks 45 years of international experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotech, and healthcare services ranging from start-ups to large multi-nationals.

In 2004, he founded QSAM Biosciences and served as the Executive Chairman. He guided the company through its IPO as QSAM and later its merger in 2024 with Telix Pharmaceuticals Limited (ASX: TLX).

As CEO for AMEX, NASDAQ & TSX companies, he has raised $150 million in private and public equity to fund development projects, product introductions, corporate restructurings, and turnarounds for major institutional investors that included JP Morgan Capital. Richard has significant drug, biologic and device development & clinical trial expertise.

He was responsible for contracting domestic and international clinical trial sites, tracking those trials, and gaining regulatory approvals for Class I, II & III medical devices, BLA, NDA & ANDAs.

His multiple degrees earned from State University of New York, include a BS in Economics, BS in Speech Pathology and PhD studies in Economics. Richard has served as an advisor to MD Anderson Cancer Center Department of Technology Transfer, and as guest lecturer at Caltech, MIT, USC, and Rice University Jones School of Management. He was a partner with La Jolla Capital Partners before relocating to Houston where he continues to work with early-stage Life Science companies as an Advisory Board member of BioHouston.

 

Sepand MoshiriAdvisor

Sep currently serves as CEO and Co-Founder of CorMedica Group, a Houston-based holding company focusing on acquiring and expanding MedTech companies that use AI-powered cardiovascular diagnostic technologies to improve accuracy for physicians and patient care quality. He is also President and CEO of their wholly owned subsidiary, Artella Solutions, specializing in Remote Patient Monitoring, particularly Mobile Cardiac Telemetry (MCT). ARTELLA’s MCT system uses a compact, wireless, non-restrictive cardiac patch to transmit ECG data in real time for immediate physician review and reporting.

He is also Co-Founder and CEO of Ramsey Financial Solutions, a full-service Regulation A+ management and services group for private and public companies (Issuers) pursuing capital raises.

He worked with Pfizer in management roles including Cardiology/Urology and US Government Relations divisions. Sep developed marketing launch teams for emerging first-in-class products throughout leading healthcare systems including VA Medical Centers and The Texas Medical Center.

Sep was a founding shareholder and built the Client Operations vertical of the unique mobile 3D Mammography imaging network, Covia Health, whose mission was to redefine preventative healthcare for women within large-cap employers. At the Utilization Benefit Management company WNS-HealthHelp, he oversaw a $60M P&L and led a high performing group to manage 5.2M lives for its largest client, Humana, Inc., while negotiating large Medicare and Commercial Insurance contracts. This served as a precursor to founding and establishing Artella as an Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility (IDTF) to achieve In-Network status with Payors and contract with Medicare.

Sep is a Houston Chapter Founder and former Co-Chair, Sponsorship Committee of the Private Directors Association (PDA); Board Member of CorMedica Group; Board Member of Artella Solutions; Board Member and Advisory Board at The John P. McGovern Museum of Health and Medical Science (The Health Museum); Advisor to Womack Family Group, single-family office.

Sep received a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology with honors from Vanderbilt University and an MBA with highest honors from University of Houston C.T. Bauer College of Business.

Dante BullaraGen Z Visionary

Ramsey Family Group utilizes Dante’s connection with Generation Z, which is characterized as the first truly digital group having grown up with technology and the internet.

To this end Dante is studying Computer Science and Finance to become totally conversant with his peers. This connection with Generation Z could uncover lucrative investing opportunities.

Dante brings financial analysis and leadership experience, from building startups to running organizations. His strategic planning and execution have been applied in a range of industries from plastics product design and manufacturing to corporate finance and marketing.

Recently, he founded BVC Capital Group, a Delaware Corporation, to make acquisitions.

He is co-founder of KD Industries LLC, a Kansas City company founded to perform 3D printing for manufacturing and e-commerce clients.

He also serves as the CFO of the Acutis Marketing Group, a separate entity supported by Benedictine College to offer students real world experience in marketing and advertising.

He is also actively involved in a nonprofit research project building luminescent solar concentrators that may one day revolutionize the way electricity is collected.

He is currently a university student pursuing degrees in Computer Science and Finance from Benedictine college and is President and Founder of the Robotics Club and Vice President of the Rocketry club.
